1. Meet & explore your vision
We’ll begin with a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to understand your goals. I’ll review your brief and provide a clear, upfront fee proposal.

2. Designing together
We’ll work side by side to shape your concept sketch, refining it until it truly reflects what you want and need.

3. Detailed drawings for consent & construction
Once the concept is just right, I’ll prepare detailed construction documentation procedures to satisfy both the client and builder requirements, as well as local government consent requirements under the New Zealand Building Act and Building Code (NZBC).

4. Navigating the Council process
I’ll take care of submitting your plans and managing the consent process with Council. When it’s time to build, you’ll engage your own contractors (construction supervision isn’t part of my scope).Detail's house designer provides a custom design plan detailed for you and your site location and works with your ideas to help create that dream project, whether it’s an alteration, residential or commercial build.
